  What is the difference between superstition and science?

  Why carry out an experiment to assess correctness? And if something is proved correct why choose to go against it? But people do.

  And people are superstitious. They can know something is stupid but still do it.

  Also WT encourages people to go out on the min. Why did people go?

  Why did Jesus say this? Why did he express a warning if people could not choose what they would do?

  (Matthew 7:15-20) “Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to you in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. By their fruits you will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? Likewise every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit; a good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, neither can a rotten tree produce fine fruit.   Why, when people have the ability to do the washing up to help carry the load of others, do they choose to sit on the sofa and do nothing?

  Resuming door to door September 1st

  gb worried about not enough coming to in person meetings.

  what are they going to be like when they realise not only jdubs don’t want to go to in person meetings but they really don’t want to go back on the min.

  zoom has so much more appeal for rather than meetings or door to door.

  nowwhat? I had to look up Xanax - never heard of it but I see it is for anxiety disorders. I remembered at least one who suffered terribly with anxiety. Others had stomach problems. It is so cruel to put people through this. They suffer physically and they are daft enough to be smug about it cause WT commends them.

  You have a choice on what you value. If you value stuff that leads to your staying alive, you live longer. It is up to you what you do. You can take a horse to water but you can't make it drink.

  (Deuteronomy 30:19-20) . . .I do take the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you today, that I have put life and death before you, the blessing and the malediction; and you must choose life in order that you may keep alive, you and your offspring, by loving Jehovah your God, by listening to his voice and by sticking to him; for he is your life and the length of your days, that you may dwell upon the ground that Jehovah swore to your forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to give to them.. . .

  (Luke 9:33-35) . . .And as these were being separated from him, Peter said to Jesus: “Instructor, it is fine for us to be here, so let us erect three tents, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah,” he not realizing what he was saying. But as he was saying these things a cloud formed and began to overshadow them. As they entered into the cloud, they became fearful.   come here you heavy hearted who departed from the truth your youth and family trapped you in.. no need to fear that armageddons near and you will be forgotten as a rotten failure to your kin.. the freedom that you took is nothing that a crusty book can ever realistically replace.. so stand up tall, tell all who need to hear that it is them who fear to look you in the face..

  a lot of my ex fellow servants must be now in their seventies, what can you do?.

  no children no money no home.

  it is so sad.. so many decided not to have children as the end was right around the corner and that was decades ago.
